About Us
Steffi Hesketh Tutoring is a friendly team of qualified UK teachers providing personalised online tuition to students across the UK and internationally.
One of the best things about being online is that families aren’t limited to teachers in their local area. We can carefully match each student with the tutor who best suits their subject, personality, learning style and goals. Our team includes experienced classroom teachers, subject specialists, examiners and education leaders who genuinely care about helping students grow in confidence.
The business was founded by me, Steffi, after more than 12 years working in secondary schools and colleges. I started as a Maths teacher before becoming Head of Maths and Assistant Head of Faculty, leading teams and supporting hundreds of students. I’ve also completed professional leadership training and hold Level 3 Designated Safeguarding Lead training.
I created Steffi Hesketh Tutoring because I wanted students to receive the individual support and encouragement that can be difficult to provide in a busy classroom. I still speak to families personally, get to know what each student needs and carefully match them with the right tutor.
When I’m not talking about education, I’m usually spending time with my two mischievous kittens, staying active or coming up with another idea for the business!
For us, tutoring is about much more than grades. It’s about helping students feel understood, building confidence and giving families reassurance that they’re in safe, supportive hands.
